Revolear is a digital deal platform purpose-built to help companies to do business together. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle the personal information we collect from website visitors, prospective and current customers, and platform users in connection with our website and our related services.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to personal information that we process on behalf of our enterprise customers, such as personal information contained in content enterprise customers upload to the platform. We process this information as instructed by our enterprise customers, in our capacity as a service provider/data processor, in accordance with the terms of our agreements with such enterprise customers.

Personal Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

Information you provide

  • Business contact details, including your first and last name and email address.  
  • Account information, such as your account credentials, billing information, payment information and other information used to administer your account, include the services you have purchased or may be interested in.
  • Usage information, such as information about how you use the services and interact with us, including information associated with any content you upload to the services or otherwise submit to us, and information you provide when you use any interactive features of the services.
  • Communications that we exchange with you, including when you contact us with questions, feedback, or otherwise.
  • Marketing information, such as your preferences for receiving communications about our services and publications, and details about how you engage with our communications.
  • Other information that we may collect which is not specifically listed here, but which we will use in accordance with this Privacy Policy or as otherwise disclosed at the time of collection.

Information we obtain from other sources

  • Social media information. We may maintain pages on social media platforms, such as Twitter and LinkedIn. When you visit or interact with our pages on those platforms, you or the platforms may provide us with information through the platform.
  • Other sources. We may obtain your personal information from other third parties, such as marketing partners, data providers, and publicly-available sources.

We and our service providers may automatically log information about you, your computer or mobile device, and your interaction over time with our services, such as:

  • Device data, such as your computer’s or mobile device’s operating system, manufacturer and model, browser type, IP address, unique identifiers, language settings, mobile device carrier, and general location information such as city, state or geographic area; and
  • Usage data, such as pages or screens you viewed, how long you spent on a page, browsing history, and access times.

How We Use Personal Information

We use personal information for the following purposes:

To provide our services. This includes:

  • Enabling you to subscribe to our newsletters;
  • Administering, hosting, and operating our services;

Third-party service providers, that provide services on our behalf or help us operate our services or our business (such as hosting, communications, data and cyber security, billing and payment processing, fraud detection, investigation and prevention, web and mobile analytics, email and communication distribution and monitoring, and customer relation management systems).

Professional advisors, such as lawyers, auditors, bankers and insurers, where necessary in the course of the professional services that they render to us.

Law enforcement, government authorities, and private parties, as we believe in good faith to be necessary or appropriate, for the compliance and protection purposes described above.

Acquirers and other relevant participants in business transactions (or negotiations for such transactions) involving a corporate divestiture, merger, consolidation, acquisition, reorganization, sale or other disposition of all or any portion of the business or assets of, or equity interests in, Revolear or our affiliates (including, in connection with a bankruptcy or similar proceedings).

Your Privacy Choices

Unsubscribe from direct marketing communications. You may opt out of marketing-related communications by following the opt-out or unsubscribe instructions contained in the marketing communication we send you. You may continue to receive service-related and other non-marketing communications.

Online tracking opt-out. There are a number of ways to opt out of having your online activity and device data collected through our services, which we have summarized below:

  • Blocking cookies in your browser. Most browsers let you remove or reject third-party cookies. To do this, follow the instructions in your browser settings. Job applicants

When you apply for one of our open positions, we collect the information that you provide in connection with your job application. This includes name, contact information, professional credentials and skills, educational and work history, and other information that may be included in a resume or provided during interviews (which may be recorded). This may also include demographic or diversity information that you voluntarily provide. We may also conduct background checks and receive related information. We use applicants’ information to facilitate our recruitment activities and process employment applications, including evaluating candidates and monitoring recruitment statistics. We also use successful applicants’ information to administer the employment relationship. We may also use and disclose applicants’ information to improve our website and for the compliance and protection purposes described above.

Data Security

We employ a number of technical, organizational and physical safeguards designed to protect the personal information we collect. However, no security measures are failsafe and we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information.

Children

Our services are not intended for use by children under 13 years of age. If we learn that we have collected personal information through our services from a child under 13 without the consent of the child’s parent or guardian as required by law, we will delete it.

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will notify you.
